As we look to remember those who serve and had served in our Armed Forces this weekend, the show as always kept upbeat with all the music you have come to enjoy, and some old & new tracks you didn’t expect… 

The 4th UK Music Video Awards ceremony took place in London’s Leicester Square. Depeche Mode have won the award for ‘Best Alternative Video’ at the 2011 UK Music Video Awards for Personal Jesus (Stargate Remix). So, Twofer’s this week is all about the award winning Depeche Mode…..So we played ‘Personal Jesus’ and ‘Walking in my shoes’.

Join Jo Brand for a night of comedy, as she showcases the finalists from this year’s prestigious New Act of the Year awards. Other comedians on the bill will include David Mills, Julian Deane, David Trent, Darius Davies, Tania Edwards, Nathaniel Tapley and Steve Aruni.

TV’s Paul Merton will be joining Josie Lawrence at the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch, Andy Smart and Neil Mullarkey.

An Evening with Rich Hall and Friends 14th Nov 2011 • Comedy Store

American comedian Rich Hall will be bringing some friends to the Comedy Store for an evening of comedy in aid of St. George’s Primary School.

Beady Eye – O2 Academy Brixton

Liam and remaining members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock decided to dissolve the old band and re-emerge as Beady Eye. With the release of debut single Bring The Light in November 2010, the band announced that a full-length studio album produced by Steve Lillywhite would follow in 2011.
