August of wind…..

I’ve been loving the sunshine; well its hard not too, as we have to make hay why the sun shines, as they say.  As well as the usual features on my show, I’m now keeping you up to date with Travel bulletins; despite the weekend usually being quieter then week days, but it can’t hurt to know…..for warned is for armed – As you can see I like a saying or two….

Twofers today came from a legend who appeared in the news this week, thanks to an ‘alleged phone hacking report’, it was none other than Sir Paul McCartney – We played two classics from his huge back catalogue , ‘No more lonely nights’ and ‘Coming up’.

{Another Twofer’s next week – feel free to suggest two tracks for next weekend: rob@phoenixfm.com}
