Another week of a mixed weather, its left me feeling confused to whether it is actually summer yet or not, still it didn’t stop me trooping out the music. With lots events occurring today in and around Brentwood we can but hope it picks a theme and sticks with it. It was a good day for the legend that is Bruce Forsyth, because he finally became a Sir; don’t call him ‘Sir Brucie’ thou.
Not a bad day also, for some 70, 13 to 18 year old Air Cadet’s from Essex and right across the UK, who as part of the Air Cadets organisation got to enjoy the Queen’s official birthday; Some were even onboard the fleet of Aircraft in the flypast – www.raf.mod.uk/aircadets/
Toofer’s today was a tenuous link to the Queen’s birthday celebrations, with two tracks from….yes QUEEN – We played The Bicycle song and One Vision.
