Pet Shop Ballet?

This weekend’s ‘toofers’ was around the fact that the Pet Shop Boys are producing the music for a Ballet in the west end, so I thought why not play 2 PSB tracks – ‘What have I done to deserve this’ and ‘Domino Dancing’

My Comedy Picks

Stewart Lee, at the Leicester Square Theatre – 13th March 2011.
Following his sell-out season last year, the acclaimed writer and comedian Stewart Lee presents a vegetable stew of brand new work in preparation for his 2011 TV series.

The Comedy School, with Jo Brand and Arthur Smith – 14th March 2011- Comedy Store.
Join Brooke Kinsella and the Comedy School and help them raise ten grand in the fight against knife crime. A host of top comedians will be there, including Jo Brand, Arthur Smith, Andi Osho, Jeff Innocent, Neil Mullarkey, Rob Grant and Judith Jacob

Michael McIntyre, at the Soho Theatre – 15th and 16th March 2011.
Michael is one of the most popular comedians on TV, and you can catch him trying out some brand-new material in a “work in progress” show at the Soho Theatre.

My Live music choices:

Mon 14 Mar. The Wombats – HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London. Popular three-piece indie band from Liverpool tour their new Album.
Wed 16 Mar. The Charlatans – Union Chapel, Islington. Classic indie band from the early Madchester scene in the late eighties are still growing strong and maintain a fanatical laddish fanbase.
