Unnatural Selection – Thursday 23rd September 2010

Week 6!  There was a late start, due to me gigging beforehand, but we soon cracked on with a couple of tunes for the girls that came to see the band.  The show was notable, in that it was the first week when Insect Of The Week ran without a hitch – happy times!  We had Double Shots from Spacehog and Muse, and ‘Expand My Mind’ suggestions from Mel, Mike and Mel respectively, Mel being the same Mel, she just got carried away.  Make your suggestions for songs to play on the show’s Facebook page.

The tracklisting was as follows:

The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition
Aqualung – Brighter Than Sunshine
Beck – Girl
Soulwax – Saturday
Green Day – American Idiot
Sparks – Beat The Clock

Dinosaur Jr. – Get Me (Expand My Mind Part 1)

Spacehog – Starside
Spacehog – Ship Wrecked
The Black Crowes – Black Moon Creeping
Hot Chip – Over and Over

The Rutles – Cheese And Onions (Expand My Mind Part 2)

Electric Soft Parade – Empty At The End

KT Tunstall – Black Horse And The Cherry Tree (Token Female)

Kula Shaker – 303

Insect Of The Week – The Great Diving Beetle

The Strokes – Reptilia
Kings Of Leon – Radioactive
Gorillaz – Dare
Muse – Muscle Museum
Muse – Sing For Absolution

J.U.F. – Gypsy Part Of Town (Expand My Mind Part 3)

Bloc Party – Banquet
Jimi Hendrix – All Along The Watchtower
