Catch up with Antonia Jones on the Saturday Breakfast Show (22 July) as she welcomed into Aj’s SoundBooth for the monthly music session – ‘ Genius Cru’s MC Fizzy’.  Fizzy performed his latest single ‘Trap Trap Trap’ and he also spoke about a  music project he had been involved with at a local school to coincide with the 2012 Olympic Games. MC Fizzy’s DJ Shocker was also in the studio to discuss the emergence and impact of the UK Grime music scene.

Former Pussycat Doll J Sutta now turned chart-topping artist, joined Antonia jones for the Saturday Breakfast Show (18 3.17) to talk about her debut album “I Say Yes”.  J Sutta also give the listeners a rundown about life before and after leaving the Dolls, with the band who were one of the most successful girl groups of the 2000s, having sold more than 54 million records worldwide. Plus hear her new track ‘Feel Like Making Love’.

This latest production is the final chapter in the trilogy of films including the likes of Stormzy and Krept & Konan. Not to forget you’ll get to hear her new track which was released last Friday.

Hi listeners,

What a fantastic six months it has been presenting the Saturday Breakfast Show since joining Phoenix in the summer. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, having had the pleasure of playing some great music for our listeners in Brentwood, Billericay, in the UK and across the world.

Each week I always look forward to featuring some of the strangest, funniest and even interesting news stories, as well as keeping you up-to-date with news from the music industry about your favourite artists and bands.

So I’m off now on my hols and will be back on Saturday 9 January 2016, but until then you can still tune in and join one of our DJ’s, who will be presenting a fantastic Saturday Breakfast Show to help kick start your weekend each week.

The festive throwback Saturday song was Coldplay ‘s 2010 single Christmas Lights. It got to number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and peaked at number 12 on the Hot Digital Songs chart. See the video here

On This Day in Music History featured 3-in-a-row from the Queen of Pop Madonna (aka Madge), who  returned to the UK and played at Brixton Academy on this day back in 2000 after seven years.
