Hurrah for Bank Holidays…

I hope you enjoy the Last Bank Holiday of May……I can tell you deserve it, on account that I feel I do. Weathers always a mixed bag at Bank holidays, but we had been lucky of recent….so fingers crossed ah.

I had my car serviced this week and I tell you, dealers are not helping themselves with the rates they are still charging for basic parts and labour. I know they need to make a profit, but why do main dealers not buck the stereo type of expense. I accept labour charges, but not the price of parts which are marked up and have always been so…… Will they ever learn, or will we; I know I have.

On a lighter note and back to what gives me joy……Music. We heard a new single from Loughton & Brentwood based band ‘Weak (end) Arrows, with a single called the Drop.

This Twofer’s was on form with my favourite band, Basildon Synth pioneers, Depeche Mode.  A head of their new remixes album ’81-11′.

Basildon super synth Pioneers....Depeche Mode.

We played the original ‘Personal Jesus’ and a free promotion track from said remix album, ‘Master & Servant (RSS mix) [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/DepecheMode_Master_and_Servant_RSS_Remix.mp3|titles=DepecheMode_Master_and_Servant_RSS_Remix]
