So today we turned our attention to two stories, one of which at least is connected with mannequins.
First off we headed off to North Carolina where it turns out that a groundsman employed to tend an area used by a number of law enforcement agencies for training purposes, carefully mowed round the body of a dead man lying outside an abandoned log cabin.
And why you may well ask did he do this?
Well apparently he thought it was either a training dummy or a Halloween decoration.
But the following day another workman was far more alarmed at the sight of the body lying “face down in his underwear and socks with one arm under him, one arm out, with marks on his arms taken to be defensive”.
So now a full investigation has been ordered by the police in China Grove.
Meanwhile over in Poland news has emerged of a 22-year old man who posed as a mannequin outside a shop at a shopping centre in the Polish capital, Warsaw.
An image of the man seemingly frozen to the spot, with his arm outstretched holding a black bag and trying to blend in with two dummies wearing Barbie T-shirts, was released by police.
As the shopping centre closed, the man who was wearing jeans and a beige hoodie, sprang into action, attacking a jewellery stand.
It seems that when he felt safe he went hunting, returning on a second day to eat at one of the bars before slipping into a clothing store “to exchange his clothes for new ones”.
He then went to a late night restaurant in a second shopping centre to grab another meal.
Police later stated that the man was already well known to them for stealing money from several cash registers and other attempted crimes of theft and has now been arrested and charged with burglary and theft will likely face a 10-year period of incarceration.
Well given his pedigree, it looks as though he could turn out to be a model prisoner!
Of course being a Tuesday I was joined once again by Margaret Mills who took us to Colchester to look at a load of rebellious clergymen.
It was at the time of Henry VIII and the clergymen involved were up in arms due to the King turning his back on the Pope and introducing Protestantism.
Listen here to what Margaret told me on this subject: –
All being well I hope to see you again next week,
