Once again, London’s lucky synth-music fans had a big choice, as there were a few mighty concerts to pick on the Official birthday of our new King, Both concerts were by electronic music artist legends and both found fame in the 1980s; It’s alright I won’t go all cryptic on you, as yes we had the Pet Shop Boys playing west at Wembley and good old Depeche Mode, playing even more west at the Twickenham Stadium, and yes I wasn’t at either sadly. Now, as sad as I am to have missed both the decisions to be made were mighty, but in some ways made easy. I would always choose Depeche Mode first, as they are my childhood fave band, But what made it really easy was the venues and ticket prices, as I’m all for value over the joy of saying I was there and no, I don’t expect small venues anymore but I struggle generally to pay 100 pounds or so, to watch a large video screen, more so as I worry about where are the loos.
On my Chatbit wise, What factors help you make your decisions these days to go see big acts play live?

In between those live concert decisions, I had the clarity of new music this week from Distant Minds – Train To Spain – Fonz Tramontano – LLUVA and Star Madman – Psyaviah feat’ Sorrow Stories – Paul Manchin – Rodney Cromwell – Retrograph, plus a remix from Eric C Powell and a few classic tracks.
