First up I chatted to Kabir Sheikh from The Silver Bayonets. Kabir was one of our early guests back in the summer of 2007, and last chatted to us last year around the time of the release of the band’s third album, Unfolding, which was released with an unusual promo campaign of each song having its own video and introductory interview. Since then, the band have returned to the live scene and Kabir has also begun work on his first ever solo album, both of which we heard some great stories from. Next up we were joined in the studio by another long-standing Curveballs friend, Rock’n’Roll Andy. It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly ten years since Andy first joined us as frontman with Lace & Whiskey, and he certainly hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, hosting regular online open mic nights on his RARE Sounds – Live in Your Home page on Facebook.
