Our guests are Huw Turbervill, editor of The Cricketer magazine, who tells us all about the auction that Sir Geoffrey Boycott is holding online at Christie’s of over 130 items of memorabilia from his cricketing career. We also chat to the Daily Mirror cricket writer Dean Wilson about being in the bio-secure bubble, while reporting on the 2020 season, his thoughts on the Bob Willis Trophy, prospects for 2021 and a quick word on his beloved Wasps rugby team. Well, we had to talk rugby with Debbie in the studio!
Dean also provides the music choices for the show and we feature tracks from Tarrus Riley, MJ Cole and Xenia Rubinos. There’s also the usual round up of news from around the cricketing world and “Cricket Birthdays of the Week”.
