As we approach the haunting of Halloween, I am amazed and the spookiness of my own resent trains of thought. Like last week I was thinking and then spoke of the joy of boxsets and remastered classic albums, only to hear this week of my favourite band, Depeche Mode releasing an outrageously overpriced piece of merchandise as a Coffee table collectors book- This haunted me and I wondered, have you spend way too much on your favourite artist before? Did you regret it then or maybe with hindsight, do you regret now? or maybe you say hey it is all worth it.

Happily, the new music, as always was presented for free, as we heard new music from Brutalist Architecture in the Sun – Vain Machine – Erasure – Palm lakes – The Mystic Underground – Eric C Powell – Andy Hagerty – Ditsea Yella, plus a few huge sounding remixes and classic tracks as per usual.
