Today I was joined by the wonderful Louise Parker who sang and played two original songs (Will You Still Love Me and State Of Grace), gave us an insight into the past, present and future of her musical career and introduced her new single Gold which was released August 20th 2014.
Louise takes her inspiration from artists such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding, and despite starting out in musical theatre, has an unprecedented passion for pure, raw and strip back music which sees her voice and overall sound excel in giving any listener the chills (in a good way!)
She has a lot coming up including her performance on the 28th March at Chinnery’s, Southend, that sees her in the final of the Undiscovered Live Music 2015 Contest. She has also been in the studio recording and is hoping to be releasing a lot more music this year with the help of Kickstarter, the crowd funding website.
Her EP Robin Hood is now available to buy on iTunes, along with her single Gold, so go buy it, you won’t regret it. Or if you manage to get down and see Louise at one of her gigs, she is always armed with physical copies for you to purchase.
