So I’m back posting this week as I have been slacking lately in this department.
What’s new? I hear you scream… Well not much but my show has changed slightly and this year I’m going to make a consorted effort to mingle with music-y type people and therefore making friends who can come and perform on the show. I already have something lined up for March.
This week however I played you the unofficial track of the week. I picked Avicii’s new song ‘The Nights,’ because it’s just a good mix of dance, lyrics and good production. I feel like Avicii is pretty good at hit making but he manages to produce a catchy dance track but sparing us the repetitive single beat, purely electronic ensemble which most dance tracks offer these days.
I also created a playlist I ever so cleverly called, 10 years of 2’s. This was basically a count down of songs which were number 2 in the charts on February 8th for the last 10 years. Here it is:
