Jenna Quinn LIVE 14 August

facebook.com/GR80sRadioShow @Gr80sRadioShow

Incredible local vocalist Jenna Quinn sang live on GR80’s this evening. Jenna completed her performing arts studies in March 2007 and is in constant demand as a party/wedding/corporate entertainer. She says “the biggest rewards for me are the opportunities I get to make people dance, make people sing and make people smile. I perform as often as I can and want to leave as many people as possible with just a small taste of how live music can really make you feel”.

To get in touch with Jenna, go to her website www.jennaquinn.co.uk

Favourite 80’s films – Julie said Fame, Dirty Dancing, Karen went with The Breakfast Club, and Jane loved A Room With A View. I was a huge fan of Back to the Future! When Marty is being judged at the band auditions at the beginning, the judge who stands up to say he is “just too darn loud” is Huey Lewis, whose songs, “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time” are featured on the movie’s soundtrack, and also wrote Marty’s audition song

People celebrating a birthday this week include Nick Grimshaw (born 1984), and James Buckley (born 1987). In 1988 Enzo Ferrari died aged 90.

Billericay Town FC have a great video on Youtube of ex-trainer, the late Roy Wren appearing on the BBC’s ‘Songs of Praise’ in 1982. The clip includes some great footage of Roy and the boys in the dressing room, and in training.
