80’s Food and Soap Opera’s on 7th August.

facebook.com/GR80sRadioShow @Gr80sRadioShow

Back from my hols and straight into some amazing 80’s tunes! Victoria got in touch to say “Reminds me of Great Yarmouth at 17 with Susan Evans and friends at dodgy night clubs”. Which reminded ME of the sticky floor that lit up at the club I used to go to in St Albans.

Raf was listening on line in Cyprus (jealous much?!) – I hoped he was doing the moves to Madonna’s Vogue!

We talked 80’s food – remember the bright orange Findus Pancakes and boil-in-the-bag fish? How posh did we think we were when serving a slice of Vienetta?!

Brookside started in Nov 1982,The Bill in 1984, Eastenders in Feb 1985, and Casualty in Sept 1986.

Prince William was christened this week in 1982, and Zola Budd collided with Mary Decker this week in 1984.
