Earlier this week I was joined in the studio by Jay and Alan from local Green Day tribute act, Dookie, just ahead of their performance at this weekend’s Brentwood Festival at the Brentwood Centre – they’ll be playing the main stage at 5.45pm on Saturday. The band will be playing Cambridge and Ipswich in August before arriving back in Essex for a gig at Edge in Romford on September 1st. With Green Day releasing a trilogy of new albums in the coming months, expect to see plenty of this lot around town soon – in the meantime, find them online at www.dookie.co.uk!
