So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye. Yes it is my last show… for now. I will be covering certain shows, and I may be back in the new year depending on my job. So for now on to this weeks show.
In entertainment news this week I spoke about Bill Cosby, just another name on a long list of celebrities who have allegedly be involved in sexual assault scandals. The 77-year-old has been forced to cancel numerous shows at casinos in both Las Vegas and Arizona as more women have come forward to allege he sexually assaulted them years ago. Model-actress Angela Leslie has accused the star of forcing her to fondle him during an impromptu personal audition in his Vegas hotel, in 1992. Cosby’s lawyer dismissed the new claims as “fantastical,” and that it was “long past time fore this media vilification of Mr Cosby to stop.” This comes following a string of accusations from nine other women, ranging from the 1960s to 2005. Described as “decade-old events,” that are “increasingly ridiculous” by Cosby’s lawyer, it is uncertain whether he will ever investigated, but for now many of his gigs have been cancelled. In FESTIVE good news this week, a little girl found a friend in Santa Claus. Gracie Wilson was visiting her grandparents in Evansville, Indiana, when she and her family stopped at Bob Evans restaurant for breakfast. The family were seated next to a very important man with a long white beard and red suspenders, who was eating alone. Gracie said, “Mummy, Daddy, that’s Santa. He eating out by himself?” The little girl then got the OK to sit with the Christmas celebrity. She rushed to give him a big hug and they sat and chatted for about 20 minutes, covering topics from Gracie’s unborn brother, the weather in the north pole, and Frozen, to a possible visit to Santa’s toy shop. Santa was preparing to visit the local mall to cheer up other little boys and girls, when he decided to stop for breakfast first.
