Details:This stage version is based on the hit 1980 movie of the same name, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. Set within the offices of Consolidated Industries, three downtrodden female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical, bigot" of a boss and in a hilarious turn of events, get to live out their wildest fantasy of getting rid of the boss. While he remains "otherwise engaged," the women have the chance to give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that has always kept them down.
