One of our regular guests over the last few years has been doing very well for herself and it’s good to see that she hasn’t forgotten her favourite community radio station.

Alya Elouissi first appeared on Phoenix FM back in August 2018 with Scott Ross, and also performed live on Jo Bailey’s Drive show last year.

During that time her career has really blossomed, having appeared in a number of films, TV series and commercials.

Sadly, we here in the UK have not been able to keep in touch with most of these, as they have mostly appeared in Eastern Europe – Alya hails from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and her work has mostly been in that region.

Being fluent in no less than six languages with an elementary knowledge of three more has clearly been a huge bonus for her.

Alya is a singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and model who can also play a variety of musical instruments. Aged just 12, Alya was named as the “most promising actress” at The Festival of Theatre Dreams in Ljubljana. She chose to relocate in London at the tender age of just 19.
