Ahead of their upcoming show at The Chelmsford Theatre on 10th July the guys from the George Harrison Project popped into the Phoenix FM studio for a chat.
The George Harrison Project is a UK-based tribute band dedicated to celebrating the music of George Harrison, both from his time with The Beatles and his solo career, and including his work with The Traveling Wilburys.
The band is known for delivering an authentic and heartfelt live experience, performing hits such as “Here Comes the Sun,” “Something,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “My Sweet Lord,” “All Things Must Pass,” and “Handle With Care.
We also heard some really good live recordings taken from their show at The Chelmsford Theatre last year.
We had a great chat and a fun George Harrison quiz to test their knowledge. I needn’t have bothered – they were Mastermind level!
