Aloha to the wondrous extreme UK summer weather, oh and “Aloha” is a Hawaiian word with multiple meanings, including hello, goodbye, love, affection, peace, and compassion. It’s commonly used as a greeting or farewell in Hawaii and is associated with warmth and friendliness [cheers to google AI- helping me suck an egg]. So, anyway, I am trying to use this lovely polynesian word to deal with the fact I cant handle the UK heat and try to enjoy it. Oddly, I can generally handle hot temperatures a lot better in a Holiday mode abroad, so maybe it’s just my age and I need a big hat.
On my Chatbit, I spoke about hot weather and asked if you tend to bask in it, maybe desperately shy away from it all or have you a manageable set of plans to help you enjoy it better?
