One 2 Three Friday 13.6.25 Adam Atkinson C of E. Bishop of Bradwell

P H O E N I X   P L A Y E R
Adam Atkinson C of E. Bishop of Bradwell
One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring

Bishop Adam talked about pilgrimage as being where the journey is as important as arriving at the destination. He encouraged everyone to go to the Bradwell Pilgrimage on 5th of July 10.30 – 3.15. This starts at St. Thomas church. Then there is a one and a half mile walk along a Roman road to at the 7th century St Cedd’s chapel at Bradwell on Sea. This will be a day of live music, workshops, inspiring talks and stalls, all in and around a breath-taking setting on the Essex coast.

He also talked about the ‘quiet revival’ that is happening with people starting to attend church with little or no Christian background. He gave us a number of examples of people from within Essex all with fascinating accounts of why they attended for the first time and how this has changed their lives.
