P H O E N I X   P L A Y E R
Andy Smith Hutton C of E churches
One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring

Andy Smith has been Rector of St. Peters & All Saints Hutton for eight years. They are one parish with two churches.  St. Peter’s is a 20th century building. Most of the weddings and baptisms happen at All Saints.

The daily bread café  at St. Peter’s church provides fairly priced food and drink and a place for local residents to find warmth and friendship. There is also a foodbank where anyone who needs food can come and get it, no questions asked. Local shops and supermarkets provide most of the food. Some is bought by the church. 200 volunteers are involved in keeping this all running. Check out a number of previous shows with Lisa Whymark, all with full recordings, to hear more.

On Saturday 21st of June a “Big birthday” weekend begins with stalls, refreshments, a flower festival, a BBQ, ice cream and live music from local schools. Sunday 22nd a special Eucharist celebrating the feast of Corpus Christ.  Being planned for later during the year are an A  Saints Day concert and an outdoor nativity play.
