Luke Coombes – Fast car – 2003 release selling over 5 million copies in USA. This track was on the playlist when Zoe Jay from The Helen Rollason Cancer charity joined us on 25th of April. She told us the charity are currently working with 1,300 clients across four centres. She also told us that an unexpected positive consequence of the pandemic is that on-line consultations have become a regular part of their provision.

He loved watching his son and friends learn to play this track so that they could perform at the Hermit in Shenfield Road.
No 12 Marvin Gaye – Got to give it up. USA no 1. UK no 7. He wrote the song as a parody of disco as he hated the genre and refused to make a disco album.
No 15 Andrew Gold – Lonely boy – USA & Canada no 7. UK no 11. The dates of the birth of the boy and his sister in the lyric match those of Andrew Gold and his sister.
Tumbling Souls – End up running . Band form the Isle of Lewis. They are performing at the HebCelt festival 16-19th of July in Stornoway.
