One 2 Three Friday 4.4.24 CHESS Turnabout with Rob Saggs

P H O E N I X   P L A Y E R
CHESS Turnabout with Rob Saggs
One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring

Rob was very enthusiastic talking about the Chess Turnabout project that is providing 24 single accommodation modular units for homeless people. The fully furnished units should be open for clients by the end of the month. Funding is still required for solar panels and televisions for each unit. Rob also would like donations of bicycles. Rob spoke about the history of CHESS having recently met one of the original people who felt in the mid 90s that the churches in Chelmsford should do something to help homeless people. Now they CHESS have 80 bed spaces and work across 8 local authorities.
