Good For The Soul – 9th March – Playing Some Of The Biggest Soul and R&B Hits!!

Good For The Soul opened with a throwback from Rizzle Kicks and a 1986 Soul Classic from the legend Luther Vandross. Soul Spin took us back to 1975 with The Miracles, Trammps and the summer’s best selling single Van McCoy & The Soul City Symphony’s ‘The Hustle’. Recently the Glastonbury line up was announced and received mixed reviews, I shared my thoughts and played one of the acts Snow Patrol for Soulful but not Soul. Also in the lineup were Fine Young Cannibals and Bronski Beat, who got us grooving, whilst Tom Jones baritone voice told us how ‘She’s A Lady’. We also heard from some of the biggest names in Soul like Aretha Franklin, Cheryl Lynn, Lauryn Hill and the Crusaders.

If you missed the show you can listen below and add any of the songs to your own playlist!
