For a while, I’ve been thinking I would love to bring a metal show to the airwaves, but alas, as lyrics in our beloved genre can be a bit unsuitable for general consumption, it remains a dream unachievable for now (unless I get really good at editing songs.) However, I still want to share my passion with you, and so I present… BattleVest! BattleVest will be my column here, where I give you news, reviews and opinion articles from the Worlds of Rock and Metal. We may even have the occasional guest lined up (hint hint) in which case, you’ll find the recorded interview here too.

Why BattleVest? Well have you ever seen those metal heads with the jean jackets with sleeves cut off covered in patches? That’s a battle vest (among other names) I could have opted for the sleeve version (battle Jacket), but BattleVest rolls off the tongue better for me, plus I like the big ‘V’ in the logo!

So that’s it my friends as an introduction. Expect the first article soon (spoiler… today!)
