Leyton Orient welcome play-off rivals Charlton Athletic to Brisbane Road this afternoon. The visitors will be looking to beat Orient today to go above them up into the play-off places. While the O’s are eyeing a return to form after two consecutive away game defeats against Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City.

An even first opening ten minutes so far, Kelman does well running a channel to win Orient a free-kick in a promising position. Which is cleared easily by Charlton.

Orient with the first real chance of the game in the 12th minute. As a sloppy Charlton pass in midfield is picked up by Markanday and his long range effort is blocked well out for a corner. The resulting corner is swung into the front post by Galbraith, which is met by Jordan Brown by he puts his free header over the bar!

Charlton have their first shot of the game moments later from the resulting free-kick, as Godden runs onto the goal-kick but his low drive is easy pickings for Josh Keeley in net for Orient.

A couple of good tackles thrown in by Orient defenders to deny Charlton a few efforts at goal, eighteen played so far. Charlton just edging this tight fixture so far. As they have a flick on just go wide of Josh Keeley’s left post.

Big chance for the O’s as Brandon Cooper has a header well saved down low by the Charlton keeper from a set-piece.

23 mins – Charlton mess up a huge opportunity. They find themselves with a two vs one but their first shot is well blocked by Cooper and then the follow up volley is blasted high by Berry, which is gathered easily by Keeley.

Charlton having a lot of joy down Orients right hand side. They’ve found themselves through on several occasions so far this match down that side.

29 mins – Perkins the weak link, giving the ball away constantly when Orient look to break. It’s going to cost Orient sooner rather than later.

33 mins – Orient do well on the break and get a good shot away down to the Charlton keepers right. Which he does well to keep out. Markanday with the strike.

The O’s through again but Donley’s touch just lets him down. Orient having a good spell right now.

36 mins – Huge save from Josh Keeley, brave and heroic, dives on the ball as two Charlton players come steaming in. Sensational save. The original cross hit the bar and he saved Berry’s rebound header with his feet and then got his hands round the ball in time to stop the tap in.

38 mins – Orient with a half-chance down the other end now as Brown works the left channel well and puts in a ball that finds Perkins who’s half volley goes over the bar.

43 mins – A nice passing move wins Orient a corner, Galbraith to take, it’s cleared by Charlton.

46 mins – Pratley wins the O’s a free-kick in a promising position, which comes to nothing.

49 mins – Orient have a set-piece in a dangerous area…Jordan Brownnnnnnnn with a stunner!!

The original set-piece is cleared well but it falls perfectly to Brown who takes it down on his chest and hits it on the half volley and the ball flys into the top corner from about 25 yards out!

52 mins – Orient are in again and Kelman’s shot is well saved by Charlton’s keeper. Brown’s goal has sparked a sensational atmosphere here at Brisbane Road.

56 mins – Big chance for Charlton as they miss a free header from a corner. Sending it over the bar. Keeley lost the flight of the ball but the Charlton player attacking the ball couldn’t get his effort on target.

57 mins – Charlton have a crossed tipped over the bar by Keeley. The resulting corner is cleared by Donley.

62 mins – Great defending from Cooper, as he gets a toe on a dangerous cross. The resulting corner causes trouble for the O’s. as Keeley drops the cross but Godden blasts his shot over the bar.

64 mins – Orient work a good move down the right flank and Kelman is through down the right. But he spoons his shot over the bar, Kelman really should’ve scored there.

65 mins – Huge chance for the O’s as Pratley has a header from a corner cross cleared off the line.

72 mins – Mad scenes as Charlton think they have scored, however, Josh Keeley has made another sensational on the line save to deny Charlton.

73 mins – Dilan Markandy has a dig after being played through by Donley, but the keeper saves well.

Orient pushing for a second, Agyei is on now for Perkins, who had a much improved second-half.

82 mins – Charlton work a good move around the Orient box but the shot is well held by Keeley.

85 mins – Another big save from Keeley keeps Charlton at bay once again.

87 mins – Charlton have as shot from the edge of the box blast over the bar.

88 mins – Agyei wins Orient a corner. Agyei puts in a great ball but it just evades Cooper!

89 mins – A dangerous Charlton cross come shot just drifts wide of Keeley’s goal.

91 min – A ball hits a Charlton defenders hand but no penalty is given.

91 mins – Goal for Charlton – A defender heads home at the back post, Keeley lost flight of the cross.

95 mins – Charlton corner: GOAL 1-2 Charlton same corner routine does it again.
