Patrick Sherring

Katie Partridge, Colin Taylor, Allison Winfield and Natacha Dudley are members of the Mulberry Writers, a group of fifteen people that meets 10 am – 12 noon every Thursday at Mulberry House, High Ongar. Everyone writes simply because they love doing it. Story writing is undertaken by all children in primary schools. Colin told his father that he wanted to be a writer, but was dissuaded, only starting again when he was aged 40 years. He has since self-published 8 books. He read an extract of his latest book ‘The wishdosher’.  They noted that many people when they are older desire to write their life story. Allison read a descriptive account of some incidents when she was aged 4 years. They all felt that the group was a very supportive environment to develop writing. Katie encouraged everyone who feels that they would like to join them on a Thursday morning.  They would be very welcome.
