Hi Bob, I’d like to introduce you and your listeners to the Tedeschi Trucks band from America they comprise of a band lead by a husband and wife Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi. Derek trucks is a guitar virtuoso who has an incredible unique style of guitar playing. Susan Tedeschi is a guitarist singer songwriter who has an amazing voice. The pair met when Susan’s band were touring with the Allman brothers.
They went onto form the Tedeschi Trucks Band and have been very successful with their blues, soul, and rock songs. They fill stadiums in America and have a large following in the UK and Europe.
I’ve been fortunate to see them on a few occasions once at the O2 and in the London palladium. The song I’m going to request is called Midnight in Harlem, it’s a song about looking for the good in a bad situation! The track shows off Susan’s vocals and Derek Trucks amazing guitar playing.
