Martin’s Choice
Hi Bob, my song suggestion for this week.
I’m thinking of a band that formed in the early 60s in New York. They had many hits all throughout the 60s 70s and 80s and sold over 100 million records worldwide. They are the Four Seasons sometimes known as Frankie valley and the Four Seasons.
The song I’m requesting is The Night. It was first released in 1972 but failed to make the charts, but due the song being popular with the northern soul movement It was re-released later in the 70s and became a big hit. Guaranteed to get you up dancing!
Backtrack – Earth Wind and Fire – September
