Lynne gave an update on the Turning Point project that will provide 24 self contained units of accommodation to homeless people in Essex, with support and wellbeing staff on site. There will also be landscaping to the front and back of the site with refresh of the existing office and kitchen space. The internal layout of the units show how space is used to the optimum. Lynne stated the project is now well over half way to completion. Extra funding is needed to made the site ready, including for solar power for energy efficiency.
