One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring
As a Licensed Lay Minister in this group of seven congregations in five church buildings, Pauline is involved across the group. She was appointed chaplain of St. Mary Magdalene in Billericay High Street in 2023. The vision is for this church to be open as much as possible for people in the whole community. Somewhere to drop in for peace, be listened to and prayed for, as well as a venue for community events.
There are two up-coming events that Pauline talked about. The concert on February 1st is free.
The monthly community markets have been happening since 2017 and regularly attract between 250 – 300 people throughout the day. It is an opportunity for local people to have a window to show and sell items they produce. Pauline is particularly grateful for the help provided by people from the Billericay Foodbank.
