Roland Butcher’s autobiography.
On this week’s show we are joined by Roland Butcher from his Caribbean home to talk about his new book an autobiography titled, “Breaking Barriers: Barbados to England…And Back”. A great story about his journey from humble beginnings to being the first black player to represent England at Test level. Retired from playing, there days he splits his time between the West Indies and England and remains heavily involved in the game.
We also look at England Women’s defeat to Australia in the Women’s Ashes and discuss the ensuing fall outs. England’s Men start a new white ball era under Brendon McCullum and get off to a losing start in India. Same old story?
Plus news from The Hundred and around the counties. Plus local cricket clubs play football for charity
Don’t forget to look for “98 Not Out” across social media, on YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts.
