One 2 Three Friday 17.1.25 Ian Moore trip to DR Congo

P H O E N I X   P L A Y E R
One 2 Three - 17 Jan 2025
One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring

Recently Pastor Ian Moore from Billericay Baptist church returned to DR Congo where he has been on many occasions. He always finds everyone so happy and full of joy despite the obvious poverty by western standards.  He felt these conditions gave people a strong feeling of dependence on God.  Ian spoke at fifteen meetings in ten days.

Ian talking with an interpreter to two boys he mentioned in the conversation .

Ian attended the ordination of 14 men and women. This included. Adoplhine the daughter of Pastor Symplice Usuku who came with Ian to the PhoenixFM studio on 9th of June 2023. (Full recording of the show still available). He had begun his first church in 1993. Now there are 73 churches and those newly ordained will be involved in planting more. The original church has over 700 members and they are in the process of building a new church to accommodate more people
