I brought a co-presenter in with me on the show today – Donald Trump.
Not the man himself of course, but a few edits of his speech yesterday from Mar-A-Lago. I listened to the speech live out of curiosity – Would he make any sense at all? Very little to me. The speech was peppered with nonsense sayings such as “The windmills are driving the whales crazy” and “We gotta lotta milk” and “Bacon, ham, Apples” You can listen to Trumps contributions throughout the show, below.
So I brought some of those along to the show to illustrate how ludicrous the political landscape is getting – at home and abroad. Musk interfering in UK politics and mainstream UK politicians dropping the mask of respectability and showing their true extreme right wing views. I’m thinking in particular of Robert Jenrick, but he is not alone. We all deserve better than this.
