Good For The Soul – 5th Jan – A Little Chat About The Golden Globes!!

Last Sunday was Good For The Soul’s first show of 2025. A new year means a new segment where I played a few songs that aren’t necessarily classed as ‘soul’, but are extremely soulful, Chris Stapleton’s ‘Tennessee Whiskey’, Eric Clapton’s ‘Wonderful Tonight’ and the one and only Simply Red’s ‘Stars’ were amongst a few of those tracks. Although, as you can expect from the show, some of the biggest soul, funk and R&B tracks from across the decades were played and I ran through a few of the Golden Globe nominees as the awards were being held later that evening.

If you missed the show you can listen again down below or add any of the songs to your own playlist!
