Part 2 to last week’s party playlist took over ‘Good For The Soul’ last night to get you ready for the New Year. We started off strong with Fatboy Slim ‘The Rockafeller Skank’, and heard some big disco, pop, party tracks from across the decades like M People, Blondie and Shalamar. We reflected on 2024 and looked to the New Year and asked what was the moment you realised you were an adult? Your responses were incredible and made me realise that getting older and becoming an adult might not be as daunting as once imagined; I’ll never know when I will eat my favourite meal, make some great memories with people I haven’t even met yet, visit exotic places or all the small things in-between, the every day moments that got lost when looking at a year in a glance. So, off I go into the New Year with your pearls of wisdom and hope that you’ll join me again next week so we can share some music that’s Good For The Soul.
Side note, if you choose to listen again you won’t be able to get Tears For Fears out of your head, that’s just a fact.
The playlist is listed down below if you heard any tracks and thought, ‘I haven’t heard this in years’, you can now add it to your personal playlist.
Happy New Year!
