It’s Christmas Day, so we played every Christmas number 2 hit from 1970 to 1999; that’s right, we celebrated those singles that just missed out on the coveted Christmas number one spot.
The Geezers included John Lennon, T.Rex and the Pogues & Kirsty MacColl. Among the Pleasers we found The Housemartins, Isaac Hayes (Chef) and Greg Lake. And pretty much everything else was a Cheeser – as you would expect! But there were some belters including Wham, Shakin’ Stevens and ABBA.
