‘Good For The Soul’s’ last show before Christmas can only be described as a throwback to an 80s disco, the biggest dance tracks were played for two hours to get you up dancing before the big day. Christmas isn’t always the most wonderful time of the year, for a lot of people it can be quite difficult, so last night we wanted to get you up on your feet and dance any troubles away. From the likes of Boney M’s ‘Rasputin’ to ‘I.O.U.’ from Freeez, ‘Good For The Soul’ played some of your favourite club classics. Positive and uplifting news stories were shared to give you a little boost at Christmas, one from Cumbria where the Women’s Institute have been making flower bouquets and leaving them on benches for those feeling lonely at this time of year, and another from two friends in the 1950s who grew apart and reunited decades later after moving into the same care home!
Merry Christmas Everyone! And if it can’t be merry, then I hope you have a happy and healthy New Year.
