Phoenix FM has a long association with the Endeavour School – we ran fundraisers for them long before we went full-time on air in 2007, and we also had a regular show for teachers and pupils when we were based at the Baytree Centre in the centre of town.
So it’s always great to welcome teachers and pupils from the school into the studio.
Headteacher Antonella Crudgington came along with pupils James and Alfie as part of our regular monthly slot with the Essex Business Partnerships on Jo Bailey’s Drive show.
Antonella talked about how the school supports learners who have moderate learning difficulties with complex needs.
Jo also chatted with James and Alfie on air – both have DJing experience, and Jo chatted not just about life at the school but about the music they love too.
You can hear the interview again with Antonella, James and Alfie at phoenixfm.com.
