I was 16 again last Friday as I headed off to see Space live at the O2 Academy in Islington. Space were my favourite band in the late 90s when I was in my mid-teens, and I surprised myself with how many of the lyrics I remembered! It’s so true when they say it’s easy to forget what you went into a room for, but remembering song lyrics from your youth will always be easy. Definitely need to get to more gigs next year – should be a new year’s resolution for everyone!
