Kim is helping give hope to the owners of missing pets

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

We’re always looking for good news stories on Phoenix FM and finding lost pets has to be right up there in the Premier League of Good News.

When a pet goes missing it can be very traumatic and it’s due to the kindness and hard work of people like Kim Wilson that gives people hope of finding their beloved animal.

We invited Kim in to talk about her organisation Help Me Home Brentwood & Billericay. The group reunites people with their lost pets, helping people foster and adopt, and much more besides.

Kim chatted to Michelle Ward about her organisation and some of the success stories.

The organisation is strongly supported by Jane Bennett from Bennetts Funeral Directors. Jane came in with Kim to talk about her involvement, and how they met at Bennetts’ Monarch For A Day competition.

You can help Help Me Home by donating, cat food, dog food, blankets, toys, travel cages or even kitty litter. You can contact Kim by joining her Facebook group, or call Bennetts on 01277 210104 who can collect items on Kim’s behalf.

And if you missed it, Michelle’s interview with Kim and Jane is online at phoenixfm.com.
