Geezers, Pleasers & Cheesers
This week on Geezers, Pleasers and Cheesers we had our usual eclectic mix from the 70s, 80s and 90s. But we also celebrated Remembrance Sunday and in the spirit of peace and togetherness, we focussed on duets and collaborations. The Geezers included Aztec Camera & Mick Jones, Debbie Harry & Iggy Pop and Kylie & Nick Cave. The Pleasers were on equally brilliant form and among them we found George Michael & Mary J Blige, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Bananarama & the Fun Boy 3. As ever there was no way the Cheesers were going to be outdone and they included Cliff & Elton, The Carpenters and Tom Jones & Heather Small.
And as well as all that, we had all our usual features including Trackwards, When Were They….9, Are You A Cover Lover, the Soppy Softies at Seven, the Geezers, Pleasers and Cheesers Teaser and the Birthday Bonanza – all before we said So Long with the Long Song. Phew!
