A life in pictures

Being a Tuesday I was joined once again by MARGARET MILLS who’s chosen subject this week was a gentleman from Dunmow, Sir George Beaumont, who posthumously became a founding father of the National Gallery.

It is also believed that he used his influence to persuade the parents of one, John Constable, to release him to visit London so he could receive the training and guidance necessary to develop his talents, to become the artist we know so well today.

I very much look forward to having your company once more next week,
Scott
