Episode 7- Making Menopause Matter

October is Menopause Awareness month, so this week I’m speaking with author and menopause advocate, Diane Danzebrink.  Diane first brought awareness to menopause back in 2015, with her campaign, #makemenopausematter.  We talk about her new book ‘Making Menopause Matter’ and we speak of menopause beyond the basics and why she continues to campaign for more awareness of women’s needs with the menopause.

As well, this week’s music all has a tenuous link to the symptoms of the menopause, including hot flushes, erratic emotions and women’s empowerment. I’ll be giving you tips to help you with your menopause symptoms next week, and am looking for what songs you would suggest for our menopause theme.  You can leave your requests over on my Facebook page or email at the studio with the subject line: Midlife Mixup request.
