Samantha Deeks from Frontline gives us an update on Meet Up Mondays …
The official launch of Frontlines Meet Up Mondays café, at St Thomas’ Church, took place on Monday 23rd September. It was a great success! There were balloon displays, themed cake and cupcakes. Speeches were made and the cake was cut!
The Team did an amazing job setting up and running the café. Through Frontline’s HoursWorth project, adults with learning disabilities and complex needs are able to sustain paid employment, supported by experienced job coaches. Some of these roles are within the café and employees are involved in setting up the café, making fresh homemade scones and cakes, taking orders and serving you with delicious meals and cakes.
It was great to see so many of you at the launch and we thank you for your continued support. It was also wonderful to see so many new faces. We hope to see many more of you popping in for some delicious food and cake, or even a drink and a chat. It is a friendly warm environment, and the team can’t wait to meet and serve you.
We are always looking for new employment opportunities, supported through our HoursWorth project. If you interested in offering an employment opportunity and would like to know more, please get in touch with us for a chat – 07511824170, or visit our website https://www.
