122 Music Management (122MM) is hosting what it believes to be the first 24-hour virtual music festival featuring independent artists from across the globe, taking place from 21 December.
122MM has sourced acts from every time zone, with each set beginning at 1900 local time, spread over 24 hours – which is the theme binding 24:1900 together.
Featuring talented acts from traditional festival heartlands (UK, USA, Australia), along with artists from lesser known, but equally deserving territories (Georgia, Indonesia, Mexico), 24:1900 is for performers and fans tired of the current system that fails to reward musicians fairly for their performances or music.
122MM is also fundraising for Music Venue Trust (MVT) and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Given the porous state of the grassroots live scene in the UK, we wholeheartedly support MVT’s #OwnOurVenues scheme. Equally, as 24:1900 is global,
122MM is supporting the amazing work that MSF do saving people’s lives in conflict zones and elsewhere.
With early bird tickets priced at a very reasonable £12 (includes a free digital download to a 24-track compilation album and customisable digital tickets), it’s time to give something back to emerging artists.
Artists include House Of Zen, Sky Diving Penguins, Still Traffico, Black Nite Crash, Big League, Collation, Stavaris, Transmission Suite, Cian, Mr. Fluid, TorchInkoman (aka. Mapochipo), Adê, Érico Moura.
