Hilary Duff – Wake up – 2005 UK no 7, Top 10 in 6 more countries. Former Disney channel actress playing the lead character in Lizzie McGuire, Hilary is now 37 years old.

Bros – When will I be famous – 1987 UK no 2. Track from their first album – Push – no 1 in 22 countries. Twins Luke and Matt Goss are both 56 years old.

All three artists today hit the peak of their fame as teenagers.

No 9 Chairman of the Board – Give me just a little more time – UK no 3, USA no 3 selling over a million copies, Canada no 9. A version by Kylie Minogue was a UK no 2 in 1992.

No 16 The Temptations – Ball of confusion – UK no 7, USA no 3.

Nina Simone – Don’t let me be misunderstood. From the 1964 album – Broadway blue ballads. The song is no 322 in the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest songs of all time in the version recorded by The Animals.
